Quickly reach the resort by car from the airport

Each of the Miyako Islands has a large bridge connecting it to the five smaller islands around the area.

Just 17 minutes by car from Miyako Airport, where All Nippon Airways and Japan Transocean flights arrive and depart, to Ronsard Resort on Irabu Island!
Along the way, you’ll pass over the beautiful Irabu Ohashi Bridge, which is like a vast bridge to the sky, and overlooks a breathtaking ocean.

Also, a new airport terminal opened at Shimojishima Airport in 2019, located on the smaller Shimoji Island, which is adjacent to Irabu Island.

Jetstar and Skymark arrive and depart out of Shimojishima Airport, putting them merely 9 minutes away from Ronsard Resort by car!

R’s Rent-a-Car

There are few rental cars available on Miyako Island, and reservations quickly fill up during the peak season, so you may be shut out…
Thankfully, Ronsard Resort also operates R’s Rent-a-Car.

We offer the Alphard (the latest luxury minivan), the limited edition Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara (with sunroof), and the Voxy, a 7-seater station wagon.

Moreover, there is no need to go all the way out to a car rental shop, as you can rent a vehicle right when you check in. We also provide a pick-up and drop-off service to and from the hotel and the airport (reservation required).
